Managing Your Account Settings in HomeWatcher
Your account settings are where you keep your personal details tidy and tailor HomeWatcher to the way you work. Open Settings and you land on your profile, with the rest of your options laid out in the left-hand navigation. This guide gives you a quick tour of what is there.
Profile and password
The Profile section holds your name and email. Update them whenever something changes so your account and your reports stay tied to the right person. The Password section lets you set a new password at any time, which is good practice to do periodically to keep your account secure.

Appearance
Under Appearance, you can switch between a light and dark theme. Pick whichever is easier on your eyes, whether you are working at a bright desk during the day or reviewing reports in the evening.
Your e-signature
The E-signature section lets you set a default signature that HomeWatcher can use where a signature is needed, so you are not re-drawing it every time. Set it once and it is ready to go.
API keys
If you use tools that connect to HomeWatcher programmatically, the API Keys section lets you create and revoke keys for that access. When you create a key, it is shown to you only once, so copy it somewhere safe right away. You can revoke any key from the list whenever you no longer need it, which is the right move if a key is ever exposed. Treat your keys like passwords and keep them private.

Keeping your account in good shape
None of this takes long, and a few minutes spent here pays off: an accurate profile keeps your reports professional, a fresh password keeps your account safe, and a theme that suits you makes the whole app more comfortable to use day to day.
